Music is in their blood

Last night on queensday (= dutch National holiday) Skavenger, her sister (know as Jeepers on blogspot) and TomKeen (who feels no pain) performed together with Echo's Hill in the Evenaar in Venray. All of which ,except for TomKeen, have been linked on this site. I am sure they will all write stuff about the performance so I wont write a complete report here.

In short, despite the very sucky circumstances in which they had to play, the performance was good. Can't say it was the best I have ever seen. But that is only because of the fact that they only rehearsed 5 times together of which TomKeen and Jeepers couldn't be there each time. I am sure with more practice and in a better place to do their performance they's blow the roof off!

I have only one more thing to say about the concert and that is about the last song. Jamaican Disco. This song was a Echo's Hill only song which they had reheased more often. It had to be done over 3 times in the rehearsal prior to the concert, but this song might have been one of, if not the best performance I have seen on stage so far. Ofcourse I am not unbiassed. I ecspecially liked Status' drumming. That was the most awsome thing I have ever seen a drummer do live! It made me proud of him and made me feel privileged to know him!

For those who can make it, next week, the 6th of april, Echo's Hill will be playing in 'De Singel' in Venlo.
