"I Love My Energy Company"

The energy market has been liberalized as of 3 years ago. That opened up the market. I can now choose between all different energy companies for my electricity and gas. We could choose to change energy company, but the thing is, the network (cables and pipes) are still owned by the same company we get energy from now. If we would change, the energy will still come to us over the same network. So there would be extra administration stuff and that would mean in most cases that I have to pay more for the total package, while the energy itself is cheaper...

So... I DO NOT WANT TO CHANGE!!!

I get a call once a week if I would like to change. I get a guy at the door once a week asking if I want to change.

Yesterday a guy was at the door again. I decided to call my energy company and ask them is they didn't have a "I Love my "-sticker. Something you stick next to the doorbell or something and when an irritating guy wants to ring your bell he can see that and just don't bother.

The thing wasn't invented yet the man told me. Or rather, I just invented it. He thought it was a really good idea and he'd go to the marketing part of the company and call me back if it got picked up.

So if you move to a new house or ever change energy companies and within the welcoming package are 2 "I love My Energy Company" stickers... You got me to thank for that.
